You will teach and/or coordinate modules on the BSc German degree and the University Wide Language Programme (UWLP), as well as develop teaching resources, and contribute to administration in the School as required. The ability to teach classes in Translation Studies will be an advantage.&amp;nbsp;

 You will have recent experience of the UK HE environment, be a native or near-native speaker of German, and hold a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.

 Applications are sought from suitably qualified tutors to teach on our 12-week and 8-week pre-sessional EAP programmes in July, August and September 2013. The successful applicants will be required to teach 16 hours a week on programmes designed to prepare international students for entry to postgraduate degree programmes in Business and Management starting in late September 2013.

 Candidates should be experienced EAP tutors and should have a first degree and a CELTA qualification.

 For appointment as a Senior Lecturer you will also have an excellent record of publications in international journals and external research grant funding together with evidence of leadership skills.

 This appointment provides an exciting opportunity for you to join the Sociology and Policy Group as maternity leave cover. We seek an enthusiastic and successful applicant who has a strong commitment to teaching and learning.

 You will take a leading part in delivering modules within our policy programmes; you may also be expected to contribute to sociology programmes. The modules you will be responsible for are likely to include Public Policy Making (Level 1), Comparing Public Policies (Level 2) and Modern British Governance (Level 3). However the skills and experience of the successful applicant will also be taken into account in determining the exact modules to be taught.

 You will have a good degree in a relevant subject and experience of teaching at undergraduate level, and should have a PhD or be close to completion.
