 A highly motivated individual is required to facilitate and support increasing numbers of students into placements.&amp;nbsp; Your contribution to the Aston 2020 strategic objective of 100% of students taking a placement will be to provide administrative and customer facing support across a wide range of placement activities.

 Reporting to the Student Placement Manager you will provide support and information to colleagues, students, employers, and other key stakeholders at the Careers &amp; Placements Centre reception desk, over the telephone and via email, with the ultimate aim of increasing placement opportunities.&amp;nbsp; You will also maintain and update placement records and documentation; plus assist in the planning and delivery of activities and events throughout the academic year.

 Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent, you will need to enjoy working under pressure, in a busy team. With a flexible approach, you will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, together with a good level of competency in IT. Superb customer services skills are essential; as is a professional manner and proactive approach to tasks.

 Interviews will be held on 19 or 20 June 2013

 A highly motivated individual is required to facilitate and support increasing numbers of students into placements.&amp;nbsp; Your contribution to the Aston 2020 strategic objective of 100% of students taking a placement will be to market and communicate placements to students to stimulate demand; deliver student preparation activities including recruitment and selection technique sessions and skills development workshops; and deliver during and post placement support.

 We are looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our friendly team.&amp;nbsp; Reporting to the Student Placement Manager as well as working closely with the Employer Engagement &amp; Marketing Manager and Lead Placement Coordinator,you will have responsibility for Combined Honours (in 2014 Joint Honours) and Social Science student support and placement administration activities. As well as supporting all student-focussed placement communications including leading on the delivery of a social media plan.

 Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent, you will need to enjoy working under pressure, in a busy team. With an outgoing personality, you will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; together with a good level of competency in writing marketing copy &amp; proof reading. An understanding of recruitment and selection is essential with a high proficiency in IT. As is a professional manner and a collaborative proactive approach.
