We have a well-established and growing team of scholars working at the intersection of healthcare management, wellbeing, and human resource management.

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Leadership and People Management to contribute to the teaching profile of the Department. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with interests or experience related to healthcare, wellbeing, HRM, or people management in complex or regulated settings.

This role is ideally suited to a teaching-focused academic or practitioner-academic who is passionate about high-quality, inclusive education and practice-informed learning. 

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching across foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate, and apprenticeship programmes, and play an active role in curriculum development and student support.

Appointment may be made at Grade 8 or Grade 9, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and review of modules and curricula, with increasing independence at Grade 9.
  • Provide academic advice, guidance, and pastoral support to students.
  • Employ innovative, inclusive, and digitally enabled teaching and assessment approaches.
  • Engage in quality assurance processes, including module evaluation and feedback analysis.
