We are looking to appoint an experienced MRI Radiographer to work alongside our well established small and friendly team. 

The radiography team sits within the Institute of Health and Neurodevelopment at Aston University in the heart of Birmingham and delivers clinical MRI services (via Aston University Imaging, an independent imaging provider) to NHS and private patients as well as assisting with neuroscience focused research MRI. Our MRI unit comprises a state-of-the-art Siemens 3T Prisma scanner, which was installed in March 2022.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a paediatric-focused facility committed to providing a high-quality MRI service where patient care is at the heart of what we do and underpins the excellent standard of care we deliver. 

The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of MRI examinations and  will be expected to be involved with optimization and development of scanning protocols for private, NHS, and research services. Previous MRI experience is essential.

This initial appointment is for 6 months fixed-term only with a view to extend.
