School of Engineering and Physical Sciences is seeking to appoint a part-time Teaching Fellow, for a fixed term of 18 months.  Hours of work shall be set annually prior to the commencement of the relevant academic year and will vary according to the requirements of the School.

We are seeking enthusiastic applicants keen to develop their teaching skills. As the successful candidate you will be delivering our quality applied mathematics degree programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will have the opportunity to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, be involved with our mathematics student society activities, and to engage externally through contributing to industrial networks, masterclasses and summer schools. 

You will hold, or be close to completion, a PhD in Mathematics or Physics.  A demonstrated track record of independent working, time management and successful delivery of objectives is also required, together with excellent written and oral communication skills.
