Aston Law School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious Lecturer in Law and Technology to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Aston’s expanding strengths in AI, digital transformation, and innovation.

 You will teach and research in areas where law meets emerging technologies, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and shaping the next generation of legal thinkers. You will join a vibrant academic community closely connected with Aston’s major digital initiatives, including:

  • the Centre of Excellence for Enterprise AI, a flagship partnership between Aston University and Capgemini, assisting world‑leading enterprise AI innovation 
  • our Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Harper James, developing a generative‑AI‑enabled legal services platform and transforming digital legal practice 
  • Aston’s wider innovation ecosystem via the Sir Peter Rigby Digital Futures Institute and the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research and Application

 We welcome applicants with expertise in areas such as AI and law, digital regulation, data governance, cyber law, platform regulation, or the legal implications of emerging technologies. You will have a strong research trajectory and dedication to delivering an excellent student experience through innovative, research‑informed teaching.
