Aston University is seeking a Business Enterprise Development Coach to join our innovative Team Academy programmes, based in the Centre for Enterprise, Coaching and Innovation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a unique, practice-led entrepreneurship education, working directly with dynamic student teams building real-world ventures from day one.

As a Team Coach, you will utilise team coaching to deliver innovative, team-based learning, facilitate ‘learning by doing’ through live projects and experiential sessions, and support learners in forming and running their ventures. You will also contribute to scholarship activity in the Centre and engage with SMEs across Birmingham.
We are seeking a flexible, creative, and reflective practitioner with a passion for lifelong learning, potentially from academia, industry, or the startup world. With experience in team coaching, enterprise/startup development, or learning facilitation, ideally within a Team Academy setting. A strong commitment to learner-centred approaches and a collaborative mindset are essential. Some experience in research, scholarship or thought leadership is desirable. You should possess a relevant degree or equivalent coaching experience and either hold HEA Fellowship or be willing to work towards it.

The salary being offered for this role is below the minimum threshold for required to sponsor new applicants to the Skilled Worker route. However, Aston University may be able to sponsor the successful candidate if they:
