The Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute leads the national EPSRC and BBSRC Supergen Bioenergy Hub and is a partner in the BBSRC Biomass and Biorefinery Network. An opportunity has arisen for a Policy Fellow to work between academia and policy partners to support development of sustainable biomass and bioenergy policy in the U.K.
You will use your strong analytical skills and research/policy experience to identify key areas for policy engagement. Leverage your interpersonal skills and strategic insight to develop relationships between the research and policy communities. This will include running events, writing briefings and collating policy responses with appropriate engagement and media activity. You will work with researchers to understand the key policy-relevant issues and support them with your effective communication skills in translating these for the policy community.
