The Admissions team are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Admissions Officer to join our Postgraduate and Professional Admissions Team.
You will be responsible for the assessment and processing of postgraduate and professional applications and for ensuring that applicants receive accurate and timely responses to enquiries during all stages of the application process. As part of the Postgraduate and Professional Admissions Team, you will help to ensure that the postgraduate and professional applicant journey is efficient, student focused, and maximises application-enrolment conversions.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in higher education within student recruitment, admissions or marketing, along with proven ability to communicate effectively with people enquiring from both the UK and overseas. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail and an ability to proactively resolve problems is essential for this role.
The role is offered as 'dynamic working', which means working both on campus and from home dependent on the activity.
Aston University is located within Birmingham City Centre and has accessible transport links, via bus or train, and a cycle to work scheme. We offer a generous annual leave scheme with 30 days bookable leave and a further 13 days bank holiday and University closure days.
