Aston Law School is seeking to appoint two outstanding Senior Teaching Fellows in Law to provide educational leadership and to contribute to the delivery and development of our undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. Some key responsibilities' are listed below :

  • Deliver high‑quality, innovative teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level;
  • Provide educational leadership through programme management, curriculum design, and pedagogic innovation;
  • Contribute to the continuous review and development of programmes, including quality assurance and enhancement;
  • Support and mentor colleagues in teaching and learning, including through peer observation and informal mentoring;
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports student success, employability, and professional skills development;
  • Contribute to School‑ and University‑level teaching and learning initiatives, committees, and academic citizenship.

You will also be encouraged to develop a pedagogic and/or academic scholarship profile aligned with the School’s priorities, and to disseminate good practice through publications, conferences, and professional networks.

These roles offer an exciting opportunity to join a distinctive, friendly and growing Law School with a strong commitment to applied, student‑centred legal education. You will play a key role in leading teaching teams, shaping curriculum design, and enhancing the student experience across our LLB Law programme and our new LLM (Masters of Law and Legal Practice, including SQE1 and SQE2 preparation).
