Are you passionate about driving innovation and building impactful partnerships? Aston University is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Knowledge Exchange Team and play a pivotal role in advancing our sector-leading research and enterprise initiatives.
Working with the Senior Business Development Managers you will identify and develop collaborative opportunities with external partners, with a focus on digital technologies and enterprise AI. You’ll support funding applications, facilitate knowledge exchange, and help translate cutting-edge research into real-world impact across our College of Engineering and Physical Sciences and Aston Business School.
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong track record in supporting the development of collaborative research and knowledge exchange projects, including experience with KTPs, Innovate UK programmes, or contract research.
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including industry, public sector bodies, and funding organisations.
- Experience in gathering intelligence on funding opportunities, policy changes, and sector trends to inform academic engagement.
