Aston Law School is seeking to appoint an outstanding scholar to the prestigious Jill Poole Chair in Commercial Law, which is a newly created role established in honour of the School's founding Dean, Professor Jill Poole. A distinguished commercial law scholar, author and educator, Professor Poole's legacy continues through Aston's internationally recognised Professor Jill Poole Memorial Lecture Series, the 10th of which will be held this autumn.

We are looking for an academic of international standing who will provide influence in commercial law research, teaching and external engagement. The successful candidate will have a strong publication record, a track record of securing research funding, and experience of doctoral supervision. Applications are welcomed from candidates working across commercial law and related fields.
