Aston Business School is a Triple-Accredited University (EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA) and recognised as one of the leading universities in the UK for academic research, excellent teaching and business engagement. We are only one of three UK institutions with the Small Business Charter Gold Award.

The Marketing & Entrepreneurship Department currently manages and delivers two successful and popular undergraduate programmes, a new BSc Digital Marketing programme starting in 2026/27, two postgraduate programmes, and a BSc Business Enterprise Development programme. The Department also supports a range of programmes at all levels across the School and Aston University. We mainly deliver teaching in Birmingham, but also at our Aston London Campus and online programmes.

As part of our growth strategy, we have expanded our portfolio of teaching at our Aston London Campus. We are therefore seeking to recruit a Teaching Fellow with a teaching specialism in Marketing for a 2-year fixed-term post in Aston London, with some potential occasional contribution to Birmingham-based teaching. This is a primarily teaching-focused role that will contribute to Undergraduate and Postgraduate modules in Marketing, provide student support and citizenship at our Aston London Campus.

The successful applicant will have a good first degree and at least a Master’s degree in Marketing, relevant professional qualifications and teaching qualifications. You will have experience of teaching and assessing within a degree programme to high standards, with demonstrable impact on student learning, and experience of teaching at Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate level. Experience of supervising Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate dissertation projects is essential, alongside the ability to maintain a visible and professional on-site presence at Aston London.

At Grade 9, candidates will also demonstrate leadership in teaching, such as curriculum innovation, programme leadership, or mentoring of teaching colleagues, and will contribute to the ongoing strategic development of Aston London provision.

The postholder will report to the Head of the Marketing and Entrepreneurship Department based in Birmingham.
