The College of Health and Life Sciences at Aston University develops the next generation of professionals in health and life sciences through innovative teaching, and creating new knowledge through internationally recognised and transferrable research. The College holds an established position as a leading provider for health and life sciences education and research. We are currently 2nd in the UK for Health Professions (Guardian University Guide, 2022), top 150 in the world for Psychology (Times Higher Education, World Subject Rankings, 2021), and top 10 in the UK for research quality in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Ophthalmics, Pharmacology and Pharmacy, and Psychology (Complete University Guide, 2022).  We are also top 10 in the UK for graduate prospects for subjects allied to Medicine (Sunday Times Good University Guide, 2022).

This new post will develop and deliver postgraduate modules in research design and statistics as well as supporting MSc and professional doctorate students through their research projects in conjunction with a topic specialist. They will also have a programme director role and provide tutoring support to postgraduate students. 

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative educator, with a strong background in guiding research design and statistics. You will have a teaching qualification in higher education and a passion to inspire postgraduate students.   

This post can be offered on a part time (0.6) or full time basis.
