Applications are invited for a post as a Lecturer or a Teaching Fellow in the area of either Clinical Pharmacy or Pharmacy Practice. Applicants must have a good first degree in pharmacy and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist. For the Teaching Fellowship, applicants must possess a PG Cert in Professional Practice in Higher Education (or equivalent) be a Fellow of Advance HE. For the Lectureship, applicants must possess a doctorate in a relevant academic discipline.
The successful applicant will develop and enhance aspects of the teaching and scholarly activities of the school, with a focus on the practice of pharmacy in near-patient settings. For the lectureship, they will also develop a research profile in the area of clinical pharmacy or pharmacy practice. The successful applicant will also develop links with our external partners across all sectors of pharmacy and healthcare to advance the clinical capabilities of our students and to support our students in the development of their professional identities.
