An exciting opportunity has arisen for a resourceful, client-focused individual to join the Degree Apprenticeships team at Aston University.
This team is responsible for managing the systems and processes that support over 1,000 apprentices and 300 employers who choose to partner with us to develop their staff. They ensure apprentices are onboarded effectively, covering the necessary contractual and regulatory steps to ensure we are fully compliant with regulations. They work closely with our programme delivery teams to ensure that the experience of apprentices on our programmes are of the highest quality, and that learning aims are tracked and achieved. And they work closely with employers, managing important commercial relationships and ensuring the employers are fully briefed on their apprentices’ progress and attainment, and providing the necessary on-the-job support to maximise learning achievement.
The role will suit somebody who is comfortable working in a client focused environment, at ease with databases and other computer systems, and with strong communication, teamworking, administrative and organisational skills.
Knowledge of the apprenticeships landscape is desirable, but full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Anonymous shortlisting will be carried out for this role as part of Aston University’s commitment to equality and diversity and ensuring a fair and consistent approach to recruitment. Personal details that are included on application forms, including the candidate’s name and address will not be disclosed to the shortlisting panel. CVs will not be considered as part of the shortlisting process.
