Aston University is excited to announce the launch of the NET2Zero Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT), funded by EPSRC and BBSRC. This innovative centre brings together world-leading research expertise and facilities from the University of Nottingham, Queen's University Belfast, the University of Warwick, and over 25 industrial partners. Supported by a wide range of industrial, academic, and policy partners, the centre will equip students with the essential skills to become future leaders in decarbonisation.

As the Net2Zero Centre Coordinator, you will support the Centre Manager in developing and implementing the programme delivery plan. Your responsibilities will include managing all operational aspects of the centre, such as budget management and coordinating activities with partner institutions and students. You will ensure the programme is delivered to a high operational standard and that events and resources are effectively managed for the benefit of all doctoral students.

You will be responsible for monitoring and facilitating programme progress in line with the funded proposal objectives. Maintaining and managing professional relationships with partner institutions and stakeholders. Identifying and improving systems, implementing processes, and representing the Net2Zero CDT at stakeholder events. Liaising with relevant staff to ensure optimal programme delivery and supporting activities such as funding allocation administration and programme record maintenance. You will be identifying opportunities for dissemination, planning and facilitating meetings, and delivering networking events. Providing secretarial support to the Net2Zero CDT Executive Group and its steering committee. Providing administrative and organisational support to the Centre Director, Centre Manager, and partners. Collating progress and financial reports, and maintaining records of network achievements, impact, and deliverables.
