This is a great opportunity to join our HR systems team at an exciting time as we work towards the Aston 2030 Strategy. The team will play a pivotal role in ensuring the department achieve the objectives set out in the strategy and so previous experience of using reporting tools to extract and manipulate data from complex systems will be essential.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to lead on the production and analysis of management information within the HR Department. The role will report directly to the Head of HR Systems and liaise closely with Senior Leaders within the department. You will be the go-to data lead within the team and act on staff data and information analysis from not only the HR function but the wider University and external bodies.

You will need to be proactive in approach, using creativity in data whilst applying not only departmental, but institutional context to our data to support our strategic objectives. You will have experience of creating, maintaining, and analysing large data sets, transforming data into understandable and engaging insights. A collaborative approach and the ability to manage unpredictability and competing priorities will be essential.

Previous experience of undertaking statutory data returns, working with data visualisation software, database scripting and experience of using specialist Human Resources Management Information Systems are desirable.
