This is an exciting time to join Aston University, with the launch of our new 2030 Strategy.  We are seeking to appoint individuals with the relevant knowledge, skills and experience necessary to support the University in meeting its external regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. Office for Students, Ofsted and appropriate Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies), and to evaluate the impact of strategic interventions in learning, teaching and the student experience.

The Educational Impact & Evaluation Officer post is focused on evaluating the impact, effectiveness and educational gain of a range of educational strategies, interventions, projects and action plans, contributing as appropriate to the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and the development and evaluation of Aston’s Access and Participation Plans.  For this role, you will, as a minimum, be educated to degree level in a numerically based subject, with experience of analysing and evaluating datasets and presenting outcomes via written reports, ideally within a higher education setting. Previous experience of working in a role with a focus on widening participation and student success, TEF, and/or academic quality is desirable.
