We are searching for an experienced and energetic people and process manager to join our newly expanded Academic Registry team as one of a team of three Programme Operations Managers. This role is integral to ensuring smooth and efficient programme operations across the university, directly enhancing the student experience while aligning with the Aston 2030 strategy. By fostering an inclusive, innovative, and forward-thinking environment, this role will help drive our ambition to make Aston University a global leader in employability and research. Bringing strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage diverse stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality support in programme operations management, fostering best practices across all areas of our operations.
Reporting to an Assistant Registrar (Programme Operations), you will play a leadership role within the university-wide Programme Operations team, providing expert oversight and guidance on university policies, academic regulations, and regulatory standards for a suite of designated programmes. Ensuring alignment with University standards and consistency across operations, you will manage a team of programme operations officers and coordinators, embedding a strong culture of customer service excellence to deliver an outstanding experience for all stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing standard operating procedures that meet the needs of students, staff, and regulatory bodies, while also leading continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. In collaboration with academic and operational teams, you will contribute to a seamless, omni-channel student journey.

The salary being offered for this role is below the minimum threshold for required to sponsor new applicants to the Skilled Worker route. However, Aston University may be able to sponsor the successful candidate if they:
- Are under 25 years old
- Hold a PhD that is relevant to the role
- Have held a Student or Graduate visa in the last 2 years
- Are already in the UK with a Tier 2 or Skilled Worker visa
