Applications are invited for a part-time Project Manager to support the delivery of MagBIO, a Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Staff Exchanges project focused on developing living magnetobots for targeted theranostics to tackle metastatic solid tumours.

The MagBIO programme brings together eighteen intersectoral partners across Europe and the United States. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth coordination, administration and financial management of this international research programme, working closely with the Programme Coordinator, academic staff, researchers, professional services teams and external partners.

The post holder will act as a primary point of contact for administrative queries relating to the project and will help ensure that the programme meets its reporting, deliverable, financial and compliance obligations. This will include liaising with consortium partners, coordinating programme records, supporting EU reporting requirements, maintaining project documentation and web content, organising meetings and workshops, and assisting with financial monitoring and audit preparation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with experience of managing complex projects, ideally within a higher education or research environment. The role would suit someone who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, coordinating deadlines, and supporting the delivery of collaborative international research.

You will have a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, proven project management experience, strong organisational and administrative skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail. You will also be confident communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Experience of working in the higher education sector is essential. Experience of supporting EU-funded projects, reporting to the European Commission, or working with international research consortia would be particularly advantageous. A project management qualification would also be desirable. The role may involve occasional international travel, including support for consortium meetings, training schools, workshops and secondment-related activities.
