Salary:  £25,728 to £30,688 per annum
Grade:  Grade 07
Basis:  Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who can supervise and deliver a high quality, customer focused IT Helpdesk Service to all users across the University.

You will have experience of supervising a front-line team and delivering front-line support to users with a wide range of IT abilities.  Technical duties include; diagnosing issues, remote installation of software, configuration of IT equipment and services. You will also provide general advice and guidance on a range of IT products and services.  Experience of supporting students and/or staff in an academic or study skills environment would be advantage for this role.

Educated to degree or an equivalent level, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer service focus.  You will have the confidence to lead a team and strong organisational skills to manage competing demands on the service.  In addition, you must be able to work independently with good attention to detail and enjoy the challenge of shaping your work in a fast moving environment.
