An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Student Support & Development team in ABS Programme Office on a 6 month fixed term basis.

You will be responsible for providing full and comprehensive support to ABS Undergraduate and Postgraduate students including answering student queries at the student reception desk, responding to email correspondence and telephone enquiries from students and staff within the Business School, disseminating information relating to students’ courses, maintaining up-to-date and accurate student records on the University records system (SITS) and processing requests for student transcripts and status letters from students, employers and other sponsoring organisations.You will also be involved in servicing Student/Staff Consultative Committees, Programme Committees and Examination Boards including setting agenda, taking detailed notes and writing minutes of meetings.

Educated to A-level or equivalent, with at least a Grade C in GCSE Maths and English, you will have experience of working in a customer focused environment, ideally within the Higher Education sector.Excellent written and verbal skills are essential for the role, along with the ability to work without close supervision.Experience of working with SITS is also desirable.
