An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Support & Assessment Manager to join a busy School Office within the School of Languages and Social Sciences (LSS).

Working closely with the Head of Administration you will lead the Student Support & Assessment Team and manage examinations, assessment and student support processes. 

You will be responsible for managing the day to day running, organisation and delivery of the examinations process for all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in LSS. The role also involves managing the provision of an effective and efficient service to LSS students; including implementing new iniatives to improve customer service and enhancement of the student experience. 

Educated to A-level or equivalent, with at least a Grade C in GCSE English, you will have relevant administrative experience, ideally of working within the Higher Education sector. You will also need a strong customer service focus, preferably with experience of regular interaction with students. Excellent written and verbal skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. Experience of working with SITS (student information system) and data reporting software is also essential.
