An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly organised individual to provide an efficient, accurate and comprehensive administrative support service to the Timetable and Planning function within Aston Business School’s Programme Office.

Working closely with the Senior Programme Leads and the Timetable and Planning Officer, you will provide a wide range of administrative support, including sourcing and booking or cancelling teaching accommodation, checking and entry of data into Celcat timetabling software and dissemination of information to students.  You will provide support to the Timetable and Planning Officer by responding to queries received by email, in telephone and in person in their absence and you will maintain electronic diaries as required. You will also be expected to support key Programme Office activities working with the Student Support and the Examinations and Assessments teams, including induction, enrolment, student allocation to seminar groups and examination boards.  

Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with at least a Grade C in Maths and English, you will have experience of working in a busy office environment in a customer facing role. Excellent written and verbal skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucially important. Excellent IT skills are also essential, preferably with knowledge and experience of working with Blackboard.
