Salary:  £26,243 to £31,302 per annum

The Admissions, Recruitment and Outreach Department have a vacancy for a Student Recruitment and Marketing Officer to lead the development of relationships between Aston University and schools and colleges. You will be responsible for implementing an agreed strategy to grow applications but also build relationships with key stakeholders including prospective students, head teachers, school staff and parents.

You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design and develop a variety of on campus events.

You will be educated to degree level or have an equivalent qualification. Previous experience of working within 13-19 education, further education or higher education and in a student recruitment, outreach or widening participation environment is essential.

You will need to have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.  You will work as part of a small team but also need to work well independently.

Evening and occasional weekend work may be required.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check for this role.

It is anticipated that the maternity cover will commence in March 2019.
