This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Catering Team at Aston, looking after and supervising the Tierra Food Court & external Catering Sites. Your key responsibility will be to oversee Catering team members on a daily basis, and ensure consistent quality against set standards is achieved and delivered to our diverse customer base.  Highly visible and equally approachable, you will take personal pride in the reputation of our facilities and services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Working closely with the Food Court Manager you will be  customer driven, have retail catering experience within a high volume outlet and be educated to an NVQ level 3 / ILM or equivalent level qualification. You are able to work to consistently high standards, while under pressure, and have experience of supervising others, managing stock controls & cash handling. You should possess good verbal & written communication skills & hold a good working knowledge of till, chip & pin systems. This is a highly visible supervisory role which requires the ability to be calm and work productively under pressure, as well as the willingness to support the development of a friendly, customer focused diverse team environment. This role requires flexibility as there is a requirement for occasional weekend working during busy periods.

The successful candidate will work as a “5/7 worker” which means that the work is on any five days (including Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays) in any seven day working week. The work hours will be between 11:30AM to 19:00PM.
