Two exciting part-time job opportunities have arisen to join Student and Academic Services as Hub Receptionist and Administrators. Reporting to the Advice Zone Manager, the successful candidates will play a key role in the delivery of a high standard of front-line customer service thus ensuring an excellent experience for students, staff, and visitors. They will also provide high quality administrative support to the Student and Academic Services teams. 

As part of a high-profile, fast-paced and high performance team, you will work in a busy multi-cultural environment and be the first point of contact for the Hub’s student service areas, taking phone calls, responding to emails, dealing with in person enquirers and making arrangements to ensure their query is appropriately resolved. As an administrator, you will assist teams within Student and Academic Services and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and key departmental projects/activities as necessary.

Applicants will be educated to GCSE/A-Level standard or equivalent including a GCSE grade C or above in English and Mathematics and have experience in a similar type and level of role. They must have demonstrably outstanding customer service skills, with previous experience of collaborating with colleagues across a large department to deliver desired outcomes. 

A flexible collaborative approach with the ability to manage unpredictability, excellent IT skills, and an aptitude for systems and processes is essential.
