An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Estates Helpdesk Operator within the Estates and Capital Developments department. 

Reporting to the Maintenance Officer, the successful candidate will provide a pro-active conscientious ‘customer’ care service to University Staff and Students regarding ECD matters. This includes responding to phone calls and emails and acting as a reception for the ECD maintenance and facilities office. You will triage incoming calls, working with the trades, cleaning and portering supervisors to dispatch the appropriate person to resolve the issue and raising Work Orders and Purchase Orders to facilitate the works.

The ideal candidate must be PC literate with experience of Microsoft Offices packages. Applicants must have good written and spoken English skills. Accuracy, attention to detail and high level of organisation are a prerequisite. A strong customer service focus is essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal contacts at various levels.
