An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Examinations and Assessment Co-ordinator to join a busy team within the Business and Social Sciences College Office. We are seeking to appoint to a fixed-term role for a period of 12 months.

Working closely with the Examinations and Assessment Leads, you will assist with co-ordinating the day-to-day running, organisation and delivery of the examinations and assessment processes for all programmes and modules in BSS

You will provide administrative support for Examination Boards, chasing, entering and checking all assessment marks, updating the student records system (SITS) and informing students of results by strict deadlines. You will also assist with the collection of assessment data, reviewing submission deadline schedules, setting up coursework submission links on our VLE (Blackboard) and formatting examination papers. In addition, the role involves providing confidential administrative support for exceptional circumstances and disciplinary processes, including providing advice to students, recording accurate information, organizing panels and informing students of decisions.

Educated to A-level or equivalent, with at least a Grade C in GCSE Maths and English, you will have relevant experience of working in an administrative role, preferably within the Higher Education sector.
