The Role - Regius Professor of Pharmacy

Applications are sought from outstanding candidates with established and maintained international recognition achieved through original, innovative and distinguished contributions to research and scholarship within pharmacy.

The successful candidate will lead research and scholarship activities in Aston Pharmacy School and will seek to establish a new, or grow an existing area of research excellence within the College.  Interest from candidates with broader pharmacy research interests that align with our existing Aston Institute of Health and Neurodevelopment would also be welcomed. The successful candidate will have well-developed international credibility and networks, able to develop external links with regional, national and international bodies including HEIs, research institutes and industry partners with links to the Pharmacy School and the College of Health and Life Sciences, in support of the University Strategy.

The successful candidate will be an effective and influential communicator. Key to their success will be their ability to combine impactful credibility in the research community and beyond, with a clear vision and strategy.
