An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a key member of the Conference and Events Sales and Planning Team of a thriving proactive events and sales office. You will be instrumental in assisting the team to deliver high quality events for a variety of external customers and wide range of events, as well as enquiry handling, co-ordinating & providing customers with a high level of pre-event services.

You will have experience in detailed event coordination of conferences, weddings and functions, ideally with enquiry handling or account coordination/management experience. You will also demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, have a first class telephone manner and confident working with customers both on the telephone and face to face. The successful candidate will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and work productively in a team.  Having a good working knowledge of MS Office programmes (Excel, Word and Outlook) is essential. Experience of working with a hotel property management system would also be beneficial. 

This role is 5 out of 7 (including weekends and bank holidays), however you would usually work Monday to Friday and may be required to work a weekend depending on events taking place.  Work shifts will be between 0700-2300, you will also be expected to do 2-3 Duty Manager shifts per week for which you will receive an uplift allowance for each shift.
