This is an exciting opportunity to join Aston University if you are passionate about data and analytics. Based in Research and Knowledge Exchange, Business Insights is a friendly and hardworking team who use data and bring people together to grow our engagement activities.  

We are looking for a Labour Market Analyst who can help us to make the most of our data and turn this into insights that can be shared with academic and professional services colleagues across the university. Reporting to the Business Data Manager, you will use both quantitative and qualitative data sources to support colleagues to make decisions on business engagement activity, new course development and curriculum reviews. 

The ideal candidate will have excellent IT, written and verbal communication skills and be able to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.  You will take a collaborative approach to work and be able to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of all levels.  You will have demonstrable experience of communicating insights in a clear and concise manner, showing creativity for turning data into meaningful and compelling stories, told through reports and presentations.
