The post will be located in the Centre for Research in Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship (CREME). CREME is the leading Centre of its kind; it is committed to the production and promotion of knowledge that is useful to academic and practitioner communities. CREME is a leading contributor to academic and policy debates on ethnic minority entrepreneurship. It is at the forefront of new developments in the field, many of which have been instrumental in stimulating practitioner activities. We are a dynamic, award-winning research centre headed up by Professor Monder Ram OBE DL and have successfully built up an enviable reputation regionally, nationally, and internationally for our pioneering research and business engagement activities, promoting diversity and enterprise. 

We are looking for an individual to support the implementation of our landmark research report with NatWest Group: ‘The Time for Change’ Report – Advancing the growth  potential of Ethnic Minority Businesses (EMBs) and to provide supplementary marketing support across other projects in the Centre. 

The candidate should be educated to degree level and/or have equivalent experience of working in marketing roles. The preferred candidate will have experience of executing marketing campaigns and be social media savvy. The ability to create communications for a variety of audiences is vital and experience of organising and event management is crucial. There is a requirement to live or be willing to move within commutable distance of Aston University's main campus.
