            <p data-end="521" data-start="176"><br></p><p data-end="521" data-start="176" id="isPasted">As part of our Aston 2030 Strategy, we are investing in a new postdoctoral research fellowship in Artificial Intelligence within Aston Business School. This role is designed to bridge cutting-edge AI research with its responsible, practical application to real-world enterprise challenges, in partnership with Capgemini and our wider industry ecosystem.</p><p data-end="1121" data-start="523">As an Aston AI Fellow, you will be a founding member of the new Aston&ndash;Capgemini Centre of Excellence for Enterprise AI. The Centre is a strategic partnership focused on moving beyond theoretical AI to deliver impact in business and society. Fellows will conduct high-impact research on enterprise challenges such as responsible adoption of AI, business transformation, governance, and value creation. Working with the Centre Director, Capgemini experts, and industry partners, you will co-create solutions with tangible benefits for organisations and society.</p><p data-end="1410" data-start="1123">The Fellowship supports Aston&rsquo;s commitment to transformative research by nurturing the research leaders of tomorrow. The core research areas of focus currently within the department include all aspects of accounting governance and regulation, management accounting and the use of accounting information for decision making, digital accounting and data analytics, financial reporting and accountability, accounting pedagogy and taxation. The department contains two distinct research units &ndash; related to public sector and not-for-profit reporting and governance, and in sustainability accounting, governance and reporting. It also hosts a Research Centre in personal financial wellbeing and a Research Group in fraud.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The successful candidate will be a natural collaborator with others and have a &lsquo;hands-on&rsquo; and &lsquo;can-do&rsquo; attitude. They will provide teaching and related administrative support across a range of modules. They will play a key role in the continuous development of our teaching portfolio.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">They will have a good first degree, ideally a higher degree to at least master level, and/or relevant professional qualifications, teaching qualifications and experience, or equivalents, in an accounting, or closely related, subject discipline.
