We welcome applications from candidates working in any area of law.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will contribute to the School&#39;s research, teaching and external engagement activities and will play an important role in supporting Aston Law School&#39;s strategic aspirations.</p><p>You will develop and deliver high-quality research, publish in leading academic outlets, contribute to curriculum development and enhancement, and provide an excellent learning experience for students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will contribute to curriculum enhancement, module development and quality assurance activities, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the School.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The role also involves supporting student attainment, progression and employability, making effective use of educational technologies, and engaging in scholarly and professional activities that enhance teaching quality and student outcomes.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">In particular, we are looking for colleagues to contribute to the teaching activities of Aston Law School primarily in one or more of the areas below, whether independently or as part of a team:</p><ul type="disc"><li style="text-align: justify;">Criminal law</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Contract/ commercial/ corporate law</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">You will hold a qualifying law degree or equivalent legal qualification and have experience of teaching and assessment in higher education.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">You will be committed to delivering an excellent and inclusive student experience, with the ability to engage and support students from diverse backgrounds. You will have experience of developing teaching materials, using digital technologies to enhance learning, and contributing to module or curriculum development.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">You will be an effective communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and students and is committed to professional development and continuous improvement in legal education.
