            <div id="isPasted"><p><br></p><p id="isPasted">Aston Law School is seeking to appoint a motivated and talented academic to join our community as a <strong>Senior Lecturer or Reader in Law</strong>.</p><p>Aston Law School is a distinctive and forward-looking Law School with a strong commitment to high-quality research, innovative teaching and meaningful engagement with the legal profession, policymakers, and wider society. Located in the heart of Birmingham, we offer a supportive and collegiate environment in which ambitious academics can thrive and develop their careers.</p><p>As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint a colleague who will help strengthen our research culture and play a role in shaping the future development of the School. We welcome applications from candidates working in any area of law.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will contribute to the School&#39;s research, teaching and external engagement activities and will play an important role in supporting Aston Law School&#39;s strategic aspirations.</p><p>You will develop and deliver high-quality research, publish in leading academic outlets, contribute to curriculum development and enhancement, and provide an excellent learning experience for students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. A distinguished commercial law scholar, author and educator, Professor Poole&#39;s legacy continues through Aston&#39;s internationally recognised Professor Jill Poole Memorial Lecture Series, the 10<sup>th</sup> of which will be held this autumn.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">We are looking for an academic of international standing who will provide influence in commercial law research, teaching and external engagement.
