            <p>We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and professional Executive Assistant who thrives on managing complexity and making things happen. In this pivotal role, you will provide high-level support to the Executive Director Finance and The Chief Information Officer, ensuring they are fully briefed, well-prepared and able to operate effectively across their portfolios.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You will manage dynamic and often demanding diaries, oversee communications, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.             <p id="isPasted">The post holder will assist the effective delivery of the University&rsquo;s end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) function, ensuring timely and accurate management of various income streams. They will provide day‑to‑day leadership, act as an operational escalation point, and oversee the resolution of complex queries. They will contribute to continuous improvement, service excellence, and compliance with institutional and sector regulations.</p><p>The post holder will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager and will positively contribute to the delivery of a consistent, high-quality service, ensuring that AR is efficient, customer-focused and aligned with institutional priorities. Key relationships will need to be managed through liaison with support areas, internal departments and government bodies and you will need to be an excellent communicator with proven experience in analytical skills and problem solving.</p><p>The post holder will be responsible for the operational activities of the Accounts Receivable (AR) function. This includes line management of some of the AR team members, and all the tasks required to deliver a high-quality AR service to all stakeholders. &nbsp;All activities to be executed and delivered as per the policies of the University and standards set by the Head of Financial Operations. &nbsp;You will deputise for the Accounts Receivable Manager and will maintain certain key AR processes.</p><p>The post holder will need proven systems experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They must demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills and be confident in their ability to inspire and encourage the team to succeed.             <p id="isPasted">Aston University is seeking to appoint a Deputy Director for Transnational Education (TNE) to play a key role in developing and delivering our international ambitions.</p><p>Transnational education is an important part of Aston&rsquo;s strategic agenda, offering opportunities to extend the University&rsquo;s international reach, deepen academic collaboration and build a sustainable portfolio of high-quality partnerships.&nbsp;</p><p>The Deputy Director for TNE will lead the development, approval, mobilisation and performance of Aston University&rsquo;s TNE portfolio. Working across Schools and professional services, the postholder will progress new TNE opportunities that are strategically aligned, academically robust, commercially viable and operationally deliverable, while maintaining effective oversight of live partnerships.</p><p>You will work closely with academic and professional services colleagues to shape new opportunities, develop business cases and approvals, coordinate delivery, and ensure partnerships are well governed and support a high-quality student experience. The role also includes supporting a disciplined portfolio approach to TNE, including oversight of partnership performance, risk and alignment with institutional priorities.</p><p>We are looking for a candidate with significant experience of developing, managing or supporting complex international partnerships, preferably within higher education. You will bring strong understanding of TNE models and the academic dimensions of partnership development, including academic ownership, peer-to-peer engagement, quality assurance and protection of the student experience.
