An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Services team at Aston University and to contribute to the operation and continuous improvement of the University’s core IT systems.  

 As the Digital Services Deployment & Release Manager you, will be working within a key department alongside other passionate individuals and, will be integral to ensuring that the University adheres to ITIL best practice. You will build relationships within Digital Services and wider professional services teams to assess and co-ordinate the release of new functionality to our enterprise applications.  You will be hands-on, planning and deploying changes that improve system functionality, reliability, and integrity.

 You will have experience in a similar deployment and release role.  You will have keen attention to detail, and will be enthusiastic about improving the University’s IT systems.

The salary being offered for this role is below the minimum threshold for required to sponsor new applicants to the Skilled Worker route. However, Aston University may be able to sponsor the successful candidate if they: 

    Are under 25 years old

    Hold a PhD that is relevant to the role

    Have held a Student or Graduate visa in the last 2 years

    Are already in the UK with a Tier 2 or Skilled Worker visa
