An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Gardener to join a busy Maintenance & Engineering Team within Estates and Capital Developments.
Reporting to the Gardening Supervisor the successful candidate will assist the ground team with grounds maintenance of the Aston University Birmingham City Centre campus including, grass cutting, weeding, maintenance of planting and shrub beds, tree pruning and other soft landscaping works. The successful candidate may also assist the ECD General Builder on certain projects
The ideal candidate must be dedicated to maintaining and improving the university grounds. Accuracy, attention to detail and high level of organisation are a prerequisite. A strong customer service focus is essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal contacts at various levels.
