If you are looking for a career in cleaning, opportunities have arisen within our award-winning Cleaning Services team, part of the Estates and Capital Developments department at Aston University. This recruitment is part of on-going developments within the team to enhance and deliver an improved service throughout as a top-ranking University. 

Good communication skills are essential in order to understand and comply with health and safety requirements and to assist in completing the required paperwork. The successful candidates must also have the ability to work effectively without close supervision as well as working as part of a team. Experience in using industrial cleaning equipment and materials would be an advantage, however full training will be provided to enable you to develop and thrive as long as you possess the right attitude.

There are eight posts are available:

  • 1 x permanent role working 15 hours per week 5 pm – 8 pm 
  • 4 x permanent roles working 15 hours per week 6 am – 9 am 
  • 1 x permanent role working split shifts 25 hours per week 6am - 9am/ 6pm – 8pm 
  • 1 x permanent role working 30 hours per week 6 am - 12.30 pm 
  • 1 x maternity cover until July 2022 working 15 hours per week 6 am to 9 am

All roles require you to work 5 days in 7, including weekends and bank holidays.
